THE PERFECT FIT

How to Measure

For the most accurate fit, take your measurements over fitted clothing or undergarments using a flexible and non-strechy sewing tape measure.
01
BUST
Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level across your back and under your arms. Keep your arms relaxed and the tape comfortably snug.
02
WAIST
Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, typically just above the belly button. Keep the tape level and comfortably snug without pulling it tight.
03
HIPS
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat. Keep the tape level and close to the body without pinching or pulling it tight.
SIZING NOTE

Between Sizes?

If your measurements fall between two sizes, we recommend selecting the larger size. Fit may vary depending on the silhouette, fabric, and construction of each design, so please review the individual product details before ordering.
This size chart applies to our standard-size ready-to-wear designs. Custom-made gowns are created according to the measurements and specifications established during the custom design process.
OUR APPROACH TO FIT

Fit & Alterations

We want every Moor Clothing design to fit beautifully. Minor fit adjustments may be complimentary when appropriate; however, alteration fees may apply depending on the construction of the gown and the scope of work required. Many of our designs feature intricate beading, embellishment, corsetry, and specialty construction that can require additional time and craftsmanship to alter.
Any applicable alteration costs will be discussed with you before the work is performed. Alterations are intended to refine the fit of the original design and do not include redesigns or significant design modifications.
